Achievement
and Experience
Throughout my
career in Thixomolding® technology I have been hands-on in every
phase of the process. I am deeply committed to the value of a job
well done and the versatility of the molding process in the manufacture
of components. A few of the highlights are:

Prior
to starting my own consulting company I was Vice President and
Chief Technical Officer of Thixotech Inc. from 1995 to 2002 which
we built from 0 to 18 million dollars in sales and 0 - 8 machine
in less then 5 years. Prior to that I was Amptech Corporation’s
Project Manager for Thixomolding® from 1991 to 1995.
- Recipient
of a Lifetime Achievement Award (2000) presented by the employees,
shareholders and board of directors of Thixotech Inc. Caption
– “For his contribution to Thixomolding®, his
passion, dedication and creativity have been immeasurable to the
development of Thixomolding® as a viable production technology”.
- 15 years
experience in Thixomolding® (beginning of 1991 to now) in
engineering (Part and Mold Design for Thixomolding®) and production.
- 20 years
experience in plastic injection molding and aluminum and zinc
die casting (1970 – 1990)
- Hands on
experience in all aspects of mold design, tool making, process
design, machine operations and trouble shooting.
- Excellent
marketing, communication and design consulting skills.
- Has written
and been awarded Research and Development contracts for Thixomolding®
development with Federal Government of Canada – Strategic
Technologies Program (4 million dollars) and Provincial Government
of Alberta – Joint venture project with The Research Council
of Alberta (2- joint ventures totaling 3 million dollars).
- Familiar
with Thixomolding® operations in Canada, United States, Europe,
Japan, Taiwan and China.
- During my
35 year career I have managed engineering departments, tool rooms,
production plants for plastic injection molding, aluminum and
zinc die casting and Thixomolding® and
R. & D. research.
